San Diego Comic-Con

This one is for all our fellow nerds out there! San Diego Comic-Con is the ultimate gathering for pop culture enthusiasts of all kinds, whether you're into anime, an upcoming film franchise, a niche zine, your growing plushie collection, or something else entirely. This event is four full days of panels, exhibits, and cosplay galore, with plenty of time to shop for exclusive merch in between. How to Get There:
Take the Pacific Surfliner to the San Diego Santa Fe Depot, where you'll arrive in the heart of downtown! The San Diego Convention Center is then just a 20-minute walk (or a 5-minute rideshare) away.
Oxnard Salsa Festival

Turn up the heat on your summer at the annual Oxnard Salsa Festival! First held way back in 1993, this celebration of salsa (yes— the music, the dance, AND the food!) is a beloved community event that pays homage to Oxnard's agricultural and cultural backgrounds. Mark this festival on your calendar and get ready to enjoy live salsa bands, a tasting tent full of fresh salsa and food vendors, and a spacious dance floor with plenty of room to groove.

Dodgers v. Padres Games

Batter up for a Dodgers versus Padres baseball game! You'll want to see this classic MLB rivalry for yourself; when the Los Angeles Dodgers take on the San Diego Padres at Petco Park in San Diego, the excitement is palpable. No matter which team you're rooting for, come down for a game this summer and get ready for a fun-filled day of good ol' fashioned baseball, tasty snacks and beverages, and a celebration of America's favorite pastime.
